Christen Harper, wife of Jared Goff, shares exclusive behind-the-scenes photos from their beautiful summer wedding

Christen Harper Goff, wife of Detroit Lions quarterback Jared Goff, shared photos from their June wedding in Ojai, California, calling it her "favorite day of 2024." The images feature moments from the ceremony and reception. Christen Harper Goff, wife of Detroit Lions quarterback Jared Goff, shared some previously unseen photos from the couple’s summer wedding in California. On Sunday, December 29, Christen, 31, posted a series of images on Instagram, captioning them, “Moments from my favorite day of 2024 .” The photos featured the bride and groom in black-and-white, Christen preparing to walk down the aisle, the couple signing their marriage license, and dancing at their reception.
“Unreal. What a weekend ” commented Katie Austin, one of Christen’s bridesmaids, who became friends with her through their shared work as Sports Illustrated swimsuit models. Kristin Juszczyk, wife of San Francisco 49ers star Kyle Juszczyk, also chimed in with, “Real life princess!” Jared, 30, responded with three red hearts in the comments.
The couple tied the knot at the Ojai Valley Inn in Ojai, California, on June 22. Earlier in the summer, Christen had shared another glimpse into their wedding weekend on Instagram. “We kicked off our wedding weekend with the perfect evening spent in the garden surrounded by all of our family and friends,” she wrote on August 7. “We laughed, we cried, and we drank lots of Hugo spritzes.” After the rehearsal dinner, Christen and Jared hosted a “welcome party under the strawberry moon,” where Christen wore a vintage John Galliano gown.
In an exclusive interview with Us Weekly in October, Christen talked about her experience getting to know the other wives and girlfriends of Lions players since Jared’s trade to Detroit in 2021. “Everyone’s in a unique position because we’re all coming from different places,” Christen said. “There are girls from here, but generally it’s girls moving to a new city where they don’t know anybody. A lot of us were lucky because there was a fresh start around the time Jared came to the team, so many of us were getting to know the city together.”
Since Jared’s arrival, the Lions have emerged as one of the NFL’s top teams. After reaching the NFC Championship Game in the 2023-2024 season, they currently hold a 14-2 record, with their eyes on their first-ever Super Bowl appearance. Christen reflected on the challenges of the team’s earlier years: “It was a little tough not winning as much as we are now,” she said, recalling Jared’s first season in Detroit in 2021, when the Lions finished with a 3-13-1 record.
She added that the team’s journey has brought her closer to her fellow WAGs: “I think going through all the ups and downs together has really brought us closer. We leaned on each other during the tough times and celebrated the fun times together.”
