As The Voice Season 27 reaches the thrilling heights of the Playoffs, coaches John Legend, Kelsea Ballerini, Michael Bublé, and Adam Levine face the tough task of choosing their finalists for the live shows. With the added expertise of Playoff Mega Mentors LeAnn Rimes and Sheryl Crow, contestants are set to shine.

As The Voice charges ahead in its 27th season, the competition is fiercer than ever. With the Blind Auditions, Battles, and Knockouts behind them, the remaining Artists are now stepping into the high-stakes world of the Playoffs—where every note could be their last on the show. Coaches John Legend, Kelsea Ballerini, Michael Bublé, and returning veteran Adam Levine are now faced with the daunting task of choosing just two Artists from each of their teams to advance to the Live Shows.

Is There a New Episode Tonight?

Yes! On Monday, April 28, The Voice will air a brand-new two-hour episode at 8/7c on NBC. This marks the beginning of the Playoff round, where the top five Artists from each team showcase their talent in an effort to secure a coveted spot in the Live Shows. And the excitement doesn’t stop there—on Tuesday, April 29, fans can tune in for a one-hour recap of the Playoff Premiere, also airing at 8/7c on NBC.

A Well-Oiled Machine

Adam Levine’s return has brought a wave of nostalgia and perspective to the show. Having been one of the original Coaches alongside CeeLo Green, Christina Aguilera, and Blake Shelton, Levine described the early days as “out of control.”
“We were like the [Rolling] Stones or something. It was like chaos … We were like a punk rock band,” he told NBC Insider. Levine even reminisced about CeeLo Green having a bird on set.
These days, Levine says The Voice is running more smoothly than ever. “It’s just gotten so different, in a good way, and efficient, and kind of mellow,” he explained. “As boring as that may sound, it’s actually really wonderful. And I’m so proud.”

What’s New This Week?

This week, the competition intensifies as each Coach listens closely to determine which two Artists from their team deserve a spot in the Live Shows. For the Playoffs, Coaches no longer have the power to Steal or Save—meaning the pressure is entirely on the Artists to deliver flawless performances.
To help guide them, the show has enlisted not one, but two Playoff Mega Mentors: country icon LeAnn Rimes and rock legend Sheryl Crow. Their advice and experience promise to elevate the Artists’ performances and add another layer of excitement for viewers.

How to Watch

You can catch The Voice Season 27 on NBC every Monday and Tuesday at 8/7c. Miss an episode? Don’t worry—new episodes are available to stream the next day on Peacock.
As the competition reaches new heights, one thing is clear: the road to crowning The Voice Season 27 winner will be packed with passion, power, and unforgettable performances. Don’t miss a moment.
