Meghan Markle revealed at the 2025 TIME100 Summit that she's the "happiest" she's ever been, attributing her joy to her supportive family and new ventures. She maintains her mental health by consciously disconnecting from the internet, focusing on her family, work, and personal peace. Meghan also emphasizes raising emotionally intelligent children who empower others.

Meghan Markle, the Duchess of Sussex, has revealed that she’s the "happiest" she’s ever been, and she’s now sharing the simple yet powerful advice that keeps her grounded and content in her personal life. During an appearance at the 2025 TIME100 Summit in New York, Meghan opened up about her newfound sense of joy and the practices she follows to maintain it.

At 43, Meghan attributes much of her happiness to the strong support system around her, especially her husband, Prince Harry, and their two children, Archie and Lilibet. "To have a partner and a husband who is so supportive, and healthy kids who are so joyful in the freeness of their lives... that’s what brings me happiness," she shared. Her family, she explained, provides her with a sense of security and peace that she never could have imagined in her younger years.

In addition to her family, Meghan has embarked on new ventures, including launching her own brand and the lifestyle series “With Love, Meghan,” filmed near her Southern California home. These projects reflect her growing sense of fulfillment and purpose, which she says has enhanced her well-being.

Despite the pressures of public life, Meghan’s key to maintaining happiness is refreshingly simple: she stays away from the internet. "I made a very, very conscious effort to create boundaries for myself and for my mental health," she said. By cutting out the constant noise of online life, she has been able to focus on what truly matters — her family, her work, and her mental peace.

This intentional disconnection allows Meghan to "tune out the noise" and avoid distractions. "Things will get brought to my attention on a need-to-know basis," she explained. "Outside of that, I’m kind of laying on the boat for a lot of things going on, and I’m OK with that." She believes that this approach helps her find the peace she craves in a world full of digital chaos.

Meghan also discussed her role as a mother, emphasizing her desire to raise not only a "strong and confident young woman" but also a son who understands the importance of empowering those around him. "It’s just as paramount of importance for young men to be raised with a confidence and sense of self that is going to empower the women around them too," she said. Her personal commitment to these values reflects her belief in the significance of nurturing both her daughter and son to be emotionally intelligent and supportive individuals.

Through her lifestyle choices, Meghan has found a balance that works for her, centered on family, healthy boundaries, and a refusal to be consumed by the demands of the digital age. Her happiness is not just a result of external success, but a product of the intentional steps she takes to protect her well-being, making her one of the most relatable role models for navigating modern life with grace and intention.
